Jane Fonda is an American actress, writer, political activist, former fashion model, and fitness guru. She rose to fame in the 1960s with films such as Barbarella and Cat Ballou and, with interruptions, has appeared in films ever since.
Jane Fonda’s house, known as Forked Lightning, is now on the market with an asking price of $19.5 million. The main house is called the River House and sits on a bend of the Pecos River. There is also two other houses that are on the property known as the Hacienda and the Log House. The Hacienda is a four bedroom guest house with about 2,125 sq. ft. of living space. The Hacienda house was designed in 1960 by John Gaw Meem for oilman Buddy Fogelson and his wife, Greer Garson. The Log House is located about two miles from ranch headquarters. The Log House is where Jane Fonda stayed while she was building the River House. The Log House has two bedrooms and three bathrooms with about 3,400 sq. ft. of living space.
Forked Lightning ranch comes with 2,300 acres outside Santa Fe, New Mexico, and includes 3.5 winding miles of the Pecos River. Jane Fonda bought the ranch back in 2000 after her marriage to Ted Turner fell apart.
