Actor Gerard Butler worked with architect Alexander Gorlin and film designer Elvis Restaino on his 3,300 sq. ft. loft in Manhatten. Gerard Butler’s house was created from his travels in Europe and even from an old coffee shop in New York. The kitchen’s cabinetry and back splash were fashioned from leftover flooring materials. Beyond an area reserved for reading is Butler’s office, sitting on the floor beside the reclaimed-mahogany-framed archway is a poster of the actor’s 2009 film Gamer. Artists Jon De Pabon and Paul Kendall painted the mural on the entrance hall’s ceiling.
